fi.gure Artistic Coven
A coven of women who shape and reimagine themselves through figuration.
"fi.gure" is a Walloon feminist art collective — a coven of women who conjure their identities through visual figuration, embracing every medium as a tool of expression. Bound by the shared belief that art and activism are not only compatible but inseparable, its members channel their creative force into acts of resistance, envisioning art as a catalyst for social transformation.

Our Story
Fi.Gure Coven was born, at the end of the year 2022, from a desire to cultivate a space where each member can flourish, grow professionally, and assert herself within the artistic landscape. The collective’s mission is to create an inclusive, conscious, and sustainable creative environment. Its ecofeminist approach takes shape through artworks that question the place of women, our relationship with nature, and societal structures — all while celebrating narratives rooted in ecological and feminist values.
Since its founding, Fi.Gure Coven has organized two group exhibitions. With each show, the collective invites the public to reflect on the myths, symbols, and systems that shape our understanding of the environment and society. In 2024, Fi.Gure was awarded the “A Future for Culture” grant from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It is within this framework that the project ‘Awaken the Witch Within You’ was born. This project was developed in collaboration with Vie Féminine, a feminist organization that brings together women from all backgrounds and actively fights against sexist violence and discrimination. The collaboration took the form of a series of artistic workshops held over the summer, culminating in an exhibition of the resulting works at the end of 2024.
Fi.Gure Coven stands united in celebrating the power of collective creation. The coven is committed to amplifying women’s presence in the arts and advocating for a more just, sustainable, and compassionate world.
